Jamie Quient is an associate at Procopio, Cory, Hargreaves & Savitch LLP, where she represents companies and municipalities in all areas of civil litigation with a focus on intellectual property and insurance bad faith litigation. Prior to joining Procopio, she served as a judicial law clerk to the Honorable Michael M. Anello, District Court Judge in the Southern District of California. Jamie has served in a number of Lawyers Club leadership roles including co-chair of the Networking Events and Membership Development Committees and Vice President of the Community Relations Section. Jamie co-chaired the Lawyers Club Human Trafficking Task Force, an initiative of Lawyers Club to engage the legal community in the fight against human trafficking in San Diego.

Rebecca Kanter is an Assistant United States Attorney in the Major Frauds & Special Prosecutions Section, where for over nine years she has prosecuted significant crimes, including public corruption, corporate fraud, and crimes against children. A graduate of UCLA School of Law, she began her career as a Central District law clerk before working as an associate at O’Melveny & Myers, LLP. Rebecca served two years as a co-chair of Lawyer Club’s Reproductive Rights & Women’s Advocacy Committee. Rebecca has been active in the community, including serving as a Southern District Lawyer Representative and a director for several non-profits, including WiLDCOAST and the UC Irvine Alumni Association, and was awarded the SDCBA’s 2014 Award for Service by a Public Attorney.

Rebecca graduated from the New York University School of Law in 2007, moved to San Diego, and joined the District Attorney’s Office. Rebecca has long been active in Lawyers Club, co-chairing both the Reproductive Rights and Women’s Advocacy Committee and the Awards Committee. In 2015, she was honored to receive Lawyers Club’s C. Hugh Friedman New Lawyer Award.
