Lawyers Club’s Pay it Forward Program

Are you looking for a way to pass along the benefits you receive as a result of your Lawyers Club membership? Lawyers Club has long touted the benefits of mentorship and sponsorship, and we are proud to offer a program that will allow members to contribute toward the membership dues of another attorney or law student.

Lawyers Club recognizes that during economic downturns, some members may face situations where they wish to remain a member of our organization, but they are not in a position to cover the cost without support. That’s where you come in – simply elect an amount you are able to pay forward and we will use those funds to cover the cost of another member or law student. We encourage members to consider providing this support when they renew their own dues for the upcoming Lawyers Club 2020-2021 membership year, although contributions to the program can be made throughout the year and sponsored memberships will be made available as funding allows.

The election to participate in Pay it Forward is considered a membership dues add-on and will be allocated to the membership dues income category for internal budget purposes. For income tax purposes, such payments to Lawyers Club are not deductible as a charitable contribution, but may be tax deductible as a business expense; consult your tax advisor for more information.

How do I contribute to Pay It Forward?

To contribute to pay it forward, access Lawyers Club’s online store where you can find Pay It Forward purchase options. Increments range from $10 to $175 and product descriptions include examples of what dollar amounts might cover in terms of memberships. You can also select more than one option to get to the amount you wish to contribute overall.
